Coverings and foalings, from stallion to foal
Record each covering with its stallion and date, follow the eleven months of pregnancy, and register the foaling without typing the pedigree again: the app builds it from what you already entered.
Covering records
Record each covering with the stallion, the mare and the date. It stays linked to the mare and you can follow it through the whole gestation until you register the foaling.
In the Thoroughbred, live cover is the only route the stud book accepts: every covering is stored with its date, and your mares' whole season is visible at a glance.
The foal's expected pedigree
When you record the covering you can define the foal's expected pedigree. Once it is born, you select that covering and the foal's profile is created with its genealogy already complete, connected to the rest of the stud.
If the stallion belongs to another stud, you add it as an external horse straight into the pedigree: there is no need to register it as one of your own for it to appear in the tree.
From covering to foaling
Every covering has its cycle: from the covering date to the foal's birth. When the foal arrives, all the accumulated information (stallion, dates, expected pedigree) moves to its permanent profile.
Each stallion's and each mare's offspring history is built automatically from these records, with nothing to enter twice.
The whole season, organized
Instead of separate spreadsheets for coverings, pregnancies and foalings, you get a single system where everything stays connected: mare, stallion, foal and pedigree. By the time the foal has to be described and registered with the stud book, the data is already there.
